Only in 1991, Big Brother's role has been taken by the administration. And the telescreen has been replaced by PARIS (Penn Automated Registration Information System.) Any of you juniors and seniors who thought you could have gotten away with failing to sign up for a major by this time were sorely mistaken. Big Brother is watching out for your better interests. And you will be closed out of PARIS come November 4. And if you happened to forget to send in your insurance or immunization forms to Student Health, you also won't be able to register. Students really should have made the effort to meet these simple bureaucratic deadlines. And they shouldn't be excused for their tardiness. But it seems the administration wants to use the PARIS technological "savior" as a technological taskmaster for students. Is that the carillon striking 13 that we hear?
