The "internationally acknowledged" prize is the highest award given to a young poet in Chile, according to Spanish Graduate Chair Jose Regueiro. The formal presentation of the award will take place on October 29 in the Salon D'Honor of the Universidad de Chile in conjunction with a ceremony commemorating the 20th anniversary of Neruda winning the Nobel Prize in Literature. -- Stephanie Desmon
