According to co-founder Larry Schoen, the group aims to raise money for cancer research, sponsor education programs and support those with cancer or those knowing others with cancer. Karen Lundblad, who holds a masters in social work will discuss the psychological effects of cancer and of dealing with the disease. The American Cancer Society's Roy Gay will then discuss the breakdown of the different types of cancer, offering basic information on cancer. The speeches, which are free and open to the public, will be held in Vance Hall B-7 at 5:30. -- Helen Jung
