The panel will address the role of the media in reporting crime, the rights of victims in dealing with the media, the media's impact on the victim and the role of the victim advocate and the media. Panel members include Sara Bergstresser from Women Organized Against Rape, Almanac Editor Karen Gaines, Beth Kaplan and Nick King from Students Together Against Acquaintance Rape, Cheryl White from the Women's Center and University News Officer Donna Waselus. Director of Victim and Security Support Services Ruth Wells will moderate the forum. The discussion will be held in Room 3 of the Penn Tower Hotel and is scheduled to begin at 11:45 a.m. A light lunch will be served, and the discussion is free and open to all members of the University community. -- Matthew Klein
