University Police Sergeant Thomas Messner said yesterday that there are suspects in the case but would not release any names or descriptions. Messner said that even if the police could positively identify the assailant, they would be unable to arrest him without having witnessed the crime or having a warrant for his arrest. Amit Patel, president of the Kappa Alpha Society, said he had no knowledge of the incident or of the parties involved. -- Elie Landau
