College senior Peter Schurman, a member of CDCIN, said the group is non-political and secular. "The CDCIN is a secular organization which supports individuals in reaching decisions of conscience concerning military service," said Schurman. "We are a confidential service which uses non-directive methods to help people come to grips with registration, the draft and draft alternatives." Schurman also said that 45 counselors are planning outreach projects to other universities and local high schools. Schurman said that interested students should make appointments for counseling. -- Michelle Filippo
