The reception is designed to introduce the artists -- who are both undergraduate and graduate students -- to the community members, according to Matthew Tullis, the gallery's public relations director. The exhibit, which will run until December 14, will feature the artists' still lifes, portraits, abstract works, paintings, prints and pastels. About six artists are participating in the exhibit. The reception, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Bowl Room of Houston Hall on Sunday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., and will offer refreshments and entertainment. -- Helen Jung
