A University student was robbed of $220 in cash Tuesday night on the 400 block of S. 40th Street. University Police said the student reported that he was walking south on 40th Street between Pine and Baltimore streets when he was confronted by two men. He told police that one man stood in front of him and ordered him to hand over all his money. A second man stood behind him and told him not to turn around or he would shoot. The man then put his hand in his waistband, indicating he had a gun. The student told police he saw an object in the waistband that could have been a gun but he never saw a weapon. The men took the money and fled west on Pine Street in a grey or light-colored Chevrolet Caprice. The student was not injured. The suspects are described as males between 22 and 26. One was described as just under six-feet tall, weighing about 170 pounds, with a muscular build and wearing a red tank top and dark pants. The other was about 5'8", weighed about 145 pounds and wore a yellow windbreaker.
