Party chairperson Omali Yeshitela, of Oakland, will give the keynote address at 11 a.m. Saturday for the conference, which is being hosted by the Uhuru Solidarity Committee. Akua Njeri, a former Black Panther who survived the FBI raid that killed Black Panther leader Fred Hampton in 1969, will speak at 4:15 p.m. Saturday on "The Counter Insurgency: The 60s and Today." Wadiya Jamal, a Philadlephia activist and former Black Panther, will speak at 2:30 p.m. Sunday during a prison workshop. The conference will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Participants will receive two meals and be asked to give a $10 donation, $15 for both days. All sessions will be held in Logan Hall, room 17. -- Brent Mitchell
