The mental health student produced the program, "What Jennifer Knew," under the guidance of Nursing Professor Ann Burgess. Burgess praised the program yesterday, saying that "this project was derived from [Slusser's] nursing studies and her talent with media productions and allowed her to combine the two skills." Much of the program takes place in actual courtrooms, with child actors portraying real children who testify in court. "Hopefully, it's going to help people understand what court involves from the child's perspective," Burgess continued. Funded primarily by the Pennsylvania Public Television Network, the program will air both in Pennsylvania and in Connecticut. Drew Zoller
