We realize that an undergraduate education should be an interactive experience among students, faculty, and administration alike. The fraternities have worked to fulfill this obligation; however, the current atmosphere created by the administration is not indicative of this responsibility. As is evident by the numerous programs recently developed by the Greek system, fraternities have dedicated themselves to progress. Unfortunately, we feel our efforts have gone unrecognized. Not only is this discouraging, but it does not comply with the administration's self-assumed obligation to advocate the Greek system. We trust that President Hackney will honor his pledge to include equitable fraternity representation on the Locust Walk committee since it may have a significant impact on our future. Given the opportunity, the Inter-Fraternity Council is committed to work together with the student body, faculty, and administration to address this and any future concern.
