Chris Wynn set the tone when he returned the game's opening kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown, as the Quakers cruised to a 27-7 win over Georgetown.
Bradford Blackmon was out with a sore ankle and Mike DiMaggio was a non-factor, but freshman Matt Hamscher - seeing his first NCAA action - more than picked up the slack. The Whitehall, Pa., native ran for a game-high 102 yards on 21 attempts (4.9 yards per carry), including a touchdown run in the second quarter.
Fullback Luke DeLuca recorded the other offensive score for the Quakers (2-2, 1-0 Ivy), who have defeated the Hoyas in all six meetings.
Rob Irvin was 11-for-20 for 149 yards, while Kyle Olson was finally sharp in limited action, completing five of his six passes. Andrew Samson converted his sixth straight field goal attempt.
