PhillyCarShare recently announced that it has added a monthly fee for its services. According to an e-mail sent to customers, the company began to "streamline" their services into a monthly plan on May 1. South Street Bridge design changes put towers on hold

At last night's South Street Bridge Coalition meeting, Philadelphia's 30th Ward residents learned that they will have to wait a bit longer for finalized designs for the bridge's upper deck. SEPTA has just made traveling in Philadelphia cheaper, faster and easier. In a press release, SEPTA announced that it will introduce a "One Day Independence Pass" and a "Family Independence Pass," for use on trains, trolleys and buses. According to the release, the passes will provide riders with the "independence of convenient, economical and unlimited travel on all SEPTA trains.

South Street Bridge tower designs proposed Due to safety concerns, four design alternatives to the towers above the road deck of the South Street Bridge were introduced to community members on Monday. The design of these glass-and-steel towers - which will take the place of the four watch towers that have been demolished - is the last step of the redesign, 30th Ward Democratic leader Marcia Wilkof said.
