Philanthropist Anne Heyman spoke Monday night about a new international development project — a youth village called Agahozo Shalom, created to help rebuild the lives of Rwandan teenagers who have been affected by the 2004 genocide.

Penn and Temple face up in stand-up comedy competition

The gloves came off between Penn and Temple University last night in a college stand-up comedy competition. A few minutes after 8 p.m., RooftopComedy - a company that records, produces and distributes live comedy performances - presented comedian David Scott to host their second annual college tour at Helium Comedy Club.

Students gather to help Penn 'Take Back the Night'

Last night, Penn students and employees assembled in the Penn Women's Center to discuss how the University can "take back the night" this year. The meeting began a little after 7:30 p.m. with almost 20 women and a handful of men gathered to hear School of Social Policy and Practice graduate student Lauren Willner elucidate the subject.
