Many would say New Student Orientation is the most fun week of the school year. The 2013 Class Board wants to relive it in January.

The Board will bring a brand new event for freshmen called NSOver Again from Jan. 22 to 24, according to 2013 Class President and Wharton freshman Jonathon Youshaei.

Each day of the weekend will feature different activities. Saturday night, members of the Class of 2013 can attend the annual Freshman Formal, where the theme will be “The Freshman Prince of Bel-Air.”

The theme will allow students to mix the formal aspects of Bel-Air with the hip-hop style of Will Smith in their attire, Youshaei said.

In addition to the Freshman Formal, on Saturday afternoon all freshmen will be given 40 percent off haircuts and nail services at the Saturn Club Hiar Salon on Sansom Street.

Sunday’s activity will be Boogie on Blades, which will include music and ice skating at the Class of 1923 Ice Rink.

Youshaei said events have been tentatively planned for Friday, but have not been finalized.

The event was one of Youshaei’s central campaign promises. He said the goal of the weekend is to allow freshmen to bond and meet new people.

“Who knows, your life long friend could be out there in the 2,500,” Youshaei said. “At the end of the day, there are still so many more people to meet, and it’s our job to make that happen.”

He added that the Board wanted these events to be so big that NSOver Again will become a new tradition that will continue for years to come.

This weekend, hundreds of alums will be swarming campus, aching to relive their Penn experiences. Whether you are a freshman interested in hooking up with someone borderline too-old for you (unless you're fifteen, in which case, keep your mace handy!), a senior looking to relive your glory days as a freshman girl, or you've just plain run out of people to hook up with on campus, homecoming weekend is prime time to get some action. Don't have any game? Don't worry. Read on and learn how to fake it like the best of them. Have a long-distance boyfriend who couldn't make it back for homecoming? Try to appear single. It's much harder to get caught when your one-night stand is halfway around the world by the time you next speak to your significant other. Look for alums who work in I-banking and are only able to stay at Penn for one night. But watch out for the Street Sweeper. Girls, you're in luck: most alumni guys have reached the shocking realization that their prime is over. Swoop in when his self-esteem is at an all-time low. Tell him you still find him attractive despite his receding hairline. Trace the line seductively with your finger to accentuate what he's missing.

Last year, Penn entered winter break with a 2-7 record and went a more respectable 7-12 afterward. This year’s squad can only hope for a similar story.

“It’ll be a good break to get our heads back together and also improve as a basketball team.” Adams remarked. | | | |

Car hire in Spain gives you the freedom to see as much as the country as you like. By heading to the greener and cooler northern regions you can discover the Basque country, Galicia and Asturias, which is a great base for those seeking a more active holiday. Here you can try your hand at a spot of climbing, hiking, horse-riding or canoeing!

The spring and autumn months are the best time for cheap car hire...

For higher temperatures and warmer seas head south to the Mediterranean coastline - there are car hire pick-up points at both Alicante and Malaga airports, which are the gateways to the Costa Blanca and Costa del Sol regions respectively. The spring and autumn months are the best time for cheap car hire in Spain, with car rental prices generally higher between April and October. But remember - by shopping around before you travel you can save money on at any time of year.

With a car rental you can spend one day at the beach before heading into the city - giving you easy access to the architecture and shopping of Barcelona. Even if you are city based you'll find some of the biggest tourist attractions, such as the Montserrat in Barcelona, are on the outskirts of the city and over an hour away on public transport. Hiring a car allows you to explore the region at your own pace and it's also ideal for those hunting for a home in sun. Car hire in Madrid will allow you to tour central Spain and makes visiting cities such as Toledo easy.
