To SEPTA management and union leaders for failing to work out an agreement before the union went on strike. The strike greatly inconvenienced the city.

To lawmakers in Harrisburg, for going 101 days without a Pennsylvania state budget. While the debates continued, funds were withheld from schools and other social services.

To professors who do not put their syllabi online during the registration period.

To Facilities for not fixing the problems with Harrison College House elevators in a prompt manner. Residents should not have had to circulate a petition to get the University’s attention.

To DuBois College House Dean Trish Williams for sending an e-mail to residents requesting that they not bring back “drunkard” friends on the verge of alcohol-related illness to the house for care. Caring for friends is more important than a college house’s reputation.

To Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) for proposing an amendment to an appropriations bill that that would cut off funding for the National Science Foundation’s political science program.

To the state Gaming Control Board for moving the planned location of a Foxwoods casino back to its originally planned location along the Delaware Waterfront. The location at 8th and Market streets was better for the city’s economic development.

To the thieves who stole some of the Penn Art Club’s squirrel statues. Theft is a crime — and not that funny.

To Penn men’s basketball coach Glen Miller for failing to lead the Quakers to a win this season so far.
