The 34th annual International Conference on High Energy Physics is taking place in the Perelman Quadrangle July 29 to Aug. 5.

More than 100 of the world's leading particle physicists from over 70 countries will attend ICHEP08, the largest physics conference this year.

The conference - jointly hosted by Penn and Princeton - will include research from around the world and will focus specifically on data from the BaBar Detector, Belle Collaboration and Tevatron, among others.

Scientists will discuss the future of high energy physics, the "God Particle," black holes and string theory.
