Clinton signs autographs for the crowd after her speech.

2:00pm - March 12th, 2008

Hillary Clinton kicked off six weeks of political attention for Philadelphia with a rally yesterday evening at Temple University.

Before a cheering crowd of 3,000 to 4,000 supporters Hillary delivered a campaign speech that was decidedly short on mentions of her chief rival, Barack Obama, but big on populist promises to help the working class.

In addition to promises to provide health care and make college more affordable, she laid out a plan for a "Strategic Energy Fund" which would invest in green technologies.

"You've heard of blue collar jobs, you've heard of white collar jobs," she said, "we can create at least 5 million green collar jobs."

Another popular topic with the crowd was the rising price of oil.

"Let's investigate the oil companies and the oil producing countries because I don't think this is on the level," Clinton said, "You will not see me as the president of the United States holding hands with the Saudis, I'm going to hold them accountable!"

Pennsylvania is the last big state to vote with a primary is on April 22nd. With no other democratic contests between then and now, Pennsylvania voters can expect to get a lot of attention from the candidates.

Michelle Obama is expected to be the next to visit the area, going to Villanova University for a public event this Thursday at 5pm.

CLINTON FOR PRESIDENT !!! I live in Texas and I voted for Hillary Clinton. Hillary far surpasses the foreign diplomat credentials of any other candidate. No one feels as passionately about healthcare for all Americans as Senator Clinton does. NAFTA helped Texas enormously.

to Hillary: dont worry about your opponent, we should stop all the bickering about what he does. Let's focus on the things of this world and what you could do as the President of the U.S. of America. God wants us as a people to love one another, not trying to find fault of one another. I know you can be the President of the U.S.A. if you just listen toyour heart and your spirit and whatever happens. Remember, God has the last word. Be blessed, dont be stressed with all this politic mess. But if God want you to be the President of USA it will be. Thank you

I love to read the bantering of those who are tangling in the day-to-day episodes of each candidate's campaign. The Democrats seem to be pretty good at critical and analytical skills, holding each candidate up to a very high standard. But which candidate best bespeaks the ideals and the realities of "today's" Democratic Party's philosophy? What is the "base," the foundation, that sets us apart from the Republican Party? Should we just vote for the "best" of all the candidates in the presidential race? Eventually, the Democratic Party will unite behind a single candidate. So, all the "p's and q's" have to be spelled out and the "i-s dotted and the t-s crossed" so we can determine which of them has the mettle of a President of the United States. Hillary Clinton hasn't stopped for a moment in this race, resting on the presumtion she'll be nominated, nor has she politely stepped aside, bowing to her rival. If testing someone's "mettle" is the deciding factor, then it's all thumbs UP for Hillary Clinton. Behind her is the best support anyone could have; her husband, former President Bill Clinton, daughter Chelsea, and a huge following of steadfast, unwaivering voters who are with her 100%. They have not been mesmerized by the Obama "idealism" but been re-assured by Mrs. Clinton of the kind of dependable, realistic, platform that realistic voters will first look for and then be heartened by her initiative in her offered plans of re-forming or changing those things which all Americans are counting on; a better economy, creation of green collar jobs, chance at better financial advantages for a higher education, and the most desired of all is healthcare which is in dire need of a complete overhaul. She speaks with confidence. She has the mettle. And with her energy, she won't fall asleep on the job. "Hillary will be the best commander-in chief and diplomat-in-chief," as Bill Clinton has stated. He indicated she would be better than he. - "Mettle" - someone with Courage and Fortitude and Strength, as in, 'soldiers showed their "mettle" in battle'... I say, it's Thumbs-Up! for Hillary Clinton! Go Hillary!

Obama's Pastor: "God Damn America, U.S. to Blame for 9/11" http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/story?id=4443788&page;=1 An ABC News review of dozens of Rev. Wright's sermons, offered for sale by the church, found repeated denunciations of the U.S. based on what he described as his reading of the Gospels and the treatment of black Americans. "The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing 'God Bless America.' No, no, no, God damn America, that's in the Bible for killing innocent people," he said in a 2003 sermon. "God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme." In addition to damning America, he told his congregation on the Sunday after Sept. 11, 2001 that the United States had brought on al Qaeda's attacks because of its own terrorism. "We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye," Rev. Wright said in a sermon on Sept. 16, 2001. "We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America's chickens are coming home to roost," he told his congregation. ===== Video: Obama's Pastor, "God Damn AmeriKKKa" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWvxTUy47Fk The man Barack Obama calls his spiritual adviser, who is credited for giving him the title of his book, The Audacity of Hope, and who married Obama and his wife and baptized their two daughters, is an America-hating racist who uses exactly the same type of hate speech as disgraced Colorado professor Ward Churchill.

Speaking of Hillary Clinton: There is bad news about her husband. It is opined that Bill Clinton committed racist hate crimes, and I am not free to say anything further about it.
