A reported robbery with a weapon at the CVS on the corner of 43rd and Locust Street prompted a UPenn Alert on the evening of Jan. 29.
At 10:59 p.m. on Sunday, the Division of Public Safety reported there had been an armed robbery at the CVS located at 4314 Locust St.
An alert on the DPS website described the perpetrator as a 6′ black male who wore dark clothing and a ski mask. He carried a handgun.
According to Kathleen Shields Anderson, the Director of Operations & External Affairs for DPS, the robber took money from the store.
At approximately 11:22 p.m., DPS reported that the area was all clear.
