In this week's edition of Is Stat So?, more school and pool records fall, and Penn men's squash runs up against an opponent it cannot handle. 


Seconds left when Penn women’s basketball’s Anna Ross hit a game-winning layup against Villanova. It had been over 16 years since the Quakers had beaten the Wildcats, and they now have a shot at a share of the Big 5 title.


Time of the scoring drought that Penn men’s basketball finished its game against Temple with. After AJ Brodeur made a three to put Penn up 51-48, the Quakers went silent, and the Owls scored the last 12 points of the game.



Number of Penn men’s squash players who lost matches 3-0 this weekend against No. 1 Trinity. The Bantams absolutely dominated the Quakers, sweeping all nine matches.



Meters that sophomore pole vaulter Sean Clarke cleared this weekend, setting a new indoor school record and besting his previous indoor record of 5.20m. The vault also ranks Clarke No. 18 in the nation.


Pool records broken by sophomore Mark Andrew in this weekend’s meet against Army. Andrew set a new best time in the 400-yard individual medley and was also part of the 200 freestyle relay team.
