On Sunday, an email sent by the Educators and Students Against White Genocide circulated around Harvard College. The email urged students to elect Donald Trump in an effort to stop "white genocide," The Harvard Crimson reported.
The email goes on to state that, "third-world non-Whites” are flowing into the United States and that white students should fight against racial/ethnic diversity. The authors of the email believe that a Trump presidency is the solution to their perceived issues facing white people.
Recipients of the email were more confused than offended, mistaking the email for spam or satire. According to the Educators and Students Against White Genocide's website, this is not the first chain of emails targeted at college students. Another email was sent to students of West Virginia University, as well as the West Virginia state legislature, the Crimson reported.
While the College has reportedly requested a police investigation, the Harvard University police department has not responded to the Crimson's request for comment regarding an investigation.
