Credit: Julio SosaAt 8:24 p.m. Friday night, the Division of Public Safety issued a UPennAlert reporting an attempted robbery with a weapon at 40th and Walnut Street.
The attempted robbery took place inside of the ATM lobby of the PNC Bank.
Additional police and security officials remain in the area. DPS declared the surroundings “all-clear” at 8:40 p.m. and allowed for normal activity to resume.
The investigation by detectives continues. The female complainant received support from DPS Special Services.
