U.S News and World did more than just name the top law schools in the country: It named the top graduate schools in the country.
While Penn Law ranked seventh in the country, Penn Nursing was named the top graduate nursing school in the country while Wharton ranked third among business schools. The Perelman School of Medicine ranked fifth for medicals schools for research.
Additionally, the Graduate School of Education was tied for seventh nationally for graduate degrees in education and Penn Engineering ranked 19th, one spot behind Princeton and one spot ahead of Harvard.
The Nursing School beat out Johns Hopkins and California-San Francisco, the two schools that tied for second. Wharton was beat out by No. 1 Stanford and No. 2 Harvard. In individual categories, Wharton ranked first for finance while it placed second for accounting, executive MBAs and marketing.
Johns Hopkins was named the top school for graduate education while MIT was the top engineering school for a graduate degree.
