A group of students at Wesleyan University were hospitalized after overdosing on Molly at a party last weekend. 

Police suspect that the students — 10 Wesleyan students and two guests--received a "bad batch of the drug." The students were taken to Middlesex Hospital and Hartford Hospital. At Middlesex, one student was in critical condition. At Hartford, two were in critical condition and one in serious condition. 

Wesleyan University President Michael warned students in an email to "stay away from illegal substances, the use of which can put you in extreme danger."

"I hope this serves as an example in a way for other students to be more cautious and careful. It can happen to anyone" Wesleyan student Olayinka Lawal said.
