Disgraced comedian Bill Cosby has resigned from his place on Temple's Board of Trustees.
In recent weeks, a series of women have come forward and alleged that Cosby raped them, prompting Cosby to resign in "the best interests" of the school.
Cosby, a Temple alum, did a stand-up comedy performance after the Nov. 9, 2013 Penn-Temple basketball game and has frequently been involved with the annual Penn Relays Carnival that takes place in April at Franklin Field.
