I am writing in response to the editorial of Oct. 27 ("Four years late is four years too many"). We appreciate the concerns raised in this editorial about the publication of reports by the Office of Student Conduct. We will soon announce the appointment of a new director of OSC, whose first priority will be to address the data tracking and related issues that have delayed these reports in the past. OSC will then report on its cases for academic years 2009-2010 through 2013-2014 no later than Jan. 9, 2015. A report for this academic year (2014-2015) will be issued no later than July 31, 2015, and reports will continue to be published annually on this schedule in the future.
