Thai Singha House restaurant has temporarily closed its doors at 3939 Chestnut Street — but it won’t stop serving.
The University City staple is being ousted by the development of The Hub 2, an addition to the residential apartment building The Hub currently located on the corner of 40th and Chestnut Streets.
Thai Singha House is still serving customers by delivery and will be relocating to 3900 Chestnut Street, with plans to reopen full business operations some time in late October.
The Hub is also known for housing the Mexican-inspired restaurant Distrito, located on the building’s first floor.
The owners of Thai Singha did not respond to requests for comment.
